Fear Energy Sucks

It creates so much unwanted BS in the body. The "what if's" when we are feeling fear, take us to such scary places, we run around inside our heads like the sky is falling.


The interesting thing about fear is this … it is our primal survival emotion, and it can grab us by our guts and grip us hard!

Fear isn't always bad, it is meant to protect us in some cases. BUT... how often do we live in fear energy... when we are ACTUALLY OKAY?

We often go to all the WHAT IF'S of situations that aren't actually… happening!

Shifting from the “What if's” of fear, into the ACTUAL REALITY OF I'M OKAY or I’M GOOD, takes a bit of work and focus, it isn't always easy… but it IS… possible! 

One tool that can work beautifully is bringing our attention and focus into the PRESENT MOMENT. Chances are, in the present moment… you are not in imminent physical danger (even tho the red lights are flashing, and the siren is wailing in your head).

We can stop and ask ourselves WHERE AM I? And answer the question as if we were describing it to someone who can’t see it. Go into every little detail. Am I inside or outside? What size is the room I’m in. What is around me? What color is the room? What can I see out the window or what kind of plants animals and trees do I see hear?

When we shift our focus and attention to something in the present moment that has a neutral energy or (even better) a positive energy, our body’s nervous system starts to shift from Fight or Flight to Rest and Reset. Then… we can BREATHE!

Taking nice BIG… DEEP… LONG… SLOW… BREATHS… deepens the shift, telling our cells we ARE OKAY!

Like any new thing we learn, it will take PRACTICE, PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE, but this whole Mind Body Spirit work is about looking at things differently so that it feels better!

We are all just a work in process, doing the best we can in any situation, learning... learning... learning...
